Pumpkin Spice Hemp Heart Oatmeal – Keto and Dairy Free

This pumpkin spice hemp heart oatmeal is the perfect low carb breakfast for the cold fall weather. Hemp hearts are nutrient dense and have zero net carbs, plus they make a great low carb substitute for oats. I made this oatmeal dairy free by using coconut milk, but you can use any milk you want. The pumpkin spices add tons of flavor to the hemp hearts, and it’s such a warm and comforting breakfast recipe. Mad Love, Bobby..Dessi..Rose Honey…Art XOXO

  1. Looks good. I make similar to this all the time but with oat milk and I add ground flax seed as well, 1:1 ratio of hemp/flax

    1/2 cup hemp hearts
    3/4 cup water3
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or cow's milk

    1-2 tablespoons monk fruit sweetener
2 tablespoons full fat coconut milk or cream

  3. Had a question on the consumption of hemp seeds.. just started eating them instead of oatmeal , will I test positive on a drug screening.

  4. It's so runny it looks more like a drink than oatmeal lol. Also cooking for 35 minutes!! Holly cow there won't be any nutrition left.

  5. I'm new to cooking with grain alternatives I'm diabetic so my favorite oatmeal is a no go I made this in my crockpot but I changed it up overnight cold method didn't work so in the crockpot I put 1 cup hemp hearts 1/4 cup chia seeds 1/4 cup coconut flakes I can of pumpkin puree his spices extra 2tsp cinnamon 1tsp allspice nutmeg and ginger each 1/4 raisins 1 cup rolled oats 2 cups water 2 cups milk 1 can coconut milk its delicious breakfast for a week I'm going to freeze some not vegan I know but it's within my acceptable carb count with stevia for sweetener

  6. Great recipe. I remember those bowls from the '70s! A lot of restaurants had them, and also had mugs to match. I think that IHOP was one of the restaurants that had those bowls and mugs. Of course IHOP is out today with the switch to KETO!

  7. Hello that’s all Caribbean people use to make porridge !!!! Love it Bobby !! All spice is the hallmark ..

  8. Could I add a lil peanut butter to this as I am not using any sweeteners. I am new to keto. Started dec lost 42lbs so far

  9. Looks a bit soupy for me… I'm sure I can use Lexx liquid to get a truer oatmeal consistency. Thanks for great videos!

  10. Great video, thank you, I love this recipe, but got a question, could you tell me your measuring cup is US cup or ? I am always confused, but it seems your half cup is almost same as one full cup that I have which I got it in Canada, please tell me how much is your cup in terms of mL

  11. WOW wow WOW–the spices in this were AMAZING! My sister and I enjoyed every slurp, lol. Could you do a pumpkin pancake or pumpkin waffle/chaffle recipe? We would appreciate it so much! And we can't think of many better or tastier ways to celebrate the fall!

  12. thank you for the fabulous recipe. I'm having this for breakfast tomorrow. I plan to add 1 T of chia seeds to help thicken it up. I've been trying to find vegetarian recipes for keto, and just discovered hemp heart seeds. I get tired of the heaviness of meat fat and cheese LOL plan to have a vegetarian day or two a week if it stays within my carb limits. (Currently doing very strict keto to heat a metabolic condition).

  13. Drop one of Papa G’s keto peanut butter fudge cubes into this bad boy with a little unsweetened cocoa powder and pecans.

  14. Followed the recipe using 1/2 cup hemp seeds but used 1 cup liquid (almond milk) and thought this yielded a tiny amount of food. I cooked it so that it wasn't so watery (I like my oatmeal thicker). I upped the amount of hemp to 1 cup and still used 1 cup of almond milk and this was the perfect hearty amount and consistency I was looking for. But according to the nutrition info, I'm consuming around 800 calories from the hemp seeds alone. Does this sound accurate?

  15. I made this and it was ok. I added shredded coconut for trxture but the taste of hemp is like buckwheat. An almond base is creamier
